Your Arrival at the Hotel within the ZBE (Low Emission Zone)

The Gran Hotel Sóller  is located in the very heart of the town, an area fully delimitated by the new Low Emission Zone (ZBE - Zona de Bajas Emisiones) implemented by the Sóller Town Council. This municipal ordinance restricts the access of unauthorized vehicles to practically the entire traditional historic center.

The objective is to reduce traffic congestion, eliminate through-traffic using the center as a shortcut, and improve the livability of its historic streets.

In accordance with current regulations, driving through this area without a formally validated exemption constitutes a municipal traffic violation subject to automated fines of €200 per entry or exit. 

However, as you hold a confirmed reservation at our establishment, you have full legal right of access to our premises, provided that you cooperate with the hotel by submitting the required vehicle details so we can register your license plate on the Town Council's management platform in a timely manner.

1. Access Requirements According to Your Vehicle

Please review the documentation you must provide so that the hotel can process your exemption with the Town Council:

2. Deadlines and Procedure

On the way to the hotel: You can enter the historic center to drop off your luggage and complete your check-in. Once here, you may park in our private parking lot (limited spaces available for €18/night, advanced booking is highly recommended).

???? Warning Regarding GPS Navigation Systems (Google Maps) Do not rely blindly on GPS navigators inside the Sóller old town. Many streets have recently changed their driving direction or have been converted into exclusive pedestrian zones, which could result in automated fines that cannot be waived.

60-Hour Window: Per Town Council regulations, we have a maximum timeframe of **60 hours** from the exact moment your vehicle crosses the first ZBE camera to process and validate your exemption in the municipal system.

3. Important Notices

⚠️ Driver's Responsibility Although the hotel carries out the daily registration process with the authorities, the final responsibility for providing correct license plate details and the required documentation within the legal 60-hour window rests exclusively with the guest who is driving.
The hotel cannot be held liable for any vehicles parked at or accessing the hotel premises that have not been properly notified to the reception desk or for which the required documentation has not been submitted within the mandatory timeframe.
